Rev. John P. Joseph, Esq., FCBA
John Joseph is an ordained Assemblies of God minister, attorney and certified church business administrator.
He is a graduate of Stetson University B.A. (1982) and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky, College of Law in (1986). John has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1986 and is admitted to practice in every state court in the State of Florida.
John is a Fellow in Church Business Administration with The National Association of Church Business Administration since (1998). He also holds a Cambridge Certificate in Risk Management for Churches and Schools from Cambridge University, England (2000).
John was highly honored to be the inaugural recipient of the Golden Hammer Award, presented by Mr. Richard Hammer, J.D. CPA, "Honoring Those Who Have Exhibited A Mastery of Church Law and Administration."
He was appointed by General Superintendent Rev. Thomas Trask to be the first President of the Assemblies of God Church Business Administration Association and served two consecutive terms.
John is also an active speaker in Florida and is a contributing author for Enrichment Magazine including a special two volume set on Church Management.
He is also an Adjunct Professor at Southeastern University where he teaches Business Ethics.
John also currently serves as a Hearing Master for the City of St. Petersburg and a Hearing Officer for Pinellas County, Florida.
John teaches Church Law and Administration for Peninsular Florida District Council's School of Ministry ordination candidates.
He has received the distinctive honor to have been appointed for three consecutive terms as a member of the Florida Bar Pre-Paid legal committee and has recently been reappointed by the Bar President as Vice Chairman.
He is also a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association and St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. John's practice focuses on churches, ministries, and charities of all denominations. For over 20 years he has represented and consulted for many churches and religious entities.
Happily married to Jackie for 25 years - his passion is the Lord and His church.
